Am I supposed to make my own version?

Prior/still-running versions had the winner (or undefeated) player having the 'honour' of setting the next game. Not sure what multi-play, like in this version, means. I wasn't actively[1] avoiding winning roseheart's while mine is still on (people have to differentiate which of two games they're guessing?) but I'm glad to see you (appear to have) won.

And if you don't, anybody can start any game at any time, I would say. You could start now, in anticipation, or end up with King Zultan I and King Zultan II games through the additional right-of-conquest...

If it were my invention, I'd state that any guessing participant should try to guess only games (one chosen game? too restrictive?) without a pending answer needed by a setting participant, unless absolutely certain, and that if there's no unpending answers (and obviously not your own, otherwise you should have unpended it!) consider it a sign that supply needs adding to cater for visiting demand. Eventually, that'd smooth out throughput, and get past dropouts and absences (y'all gotta sleep, right?). If a setter feels unanswered (maybe avoided) after too long, they can repeat the prior 'board' in case everybody missed the last state-of-play in the rush. Eventually someone should humour them, right?

But that's just my thoughts. It's roseheart's thread. And roseheart knows I overthink things... 

[1] Maybe at times I was aiming at letters that I thought were less obvious so that it would cue somebody else into the even more obvious right ones. But, until this last one in particular, I was usually guessing entirely wrong anyway!
