Edi is a veritable colossus of toughness and willpower.

We must save Edi.

No joke, he's been flying on a deflated lung.  No complaints at all.  Massive stoicism.

We should get him a whole barrel of hard liquor after this.

(also, why are myself and Monkey the only ones that seem to remember this?)

Dang seems like most people weren't paying enough attention at the time.

Also how long in game has he had that injury?

Depends--- how long did the trip from the village where we asked about sheep tallow biscuits, to the desert plateau where we met the vulture/ibis bird people take, how long did we stay there, and how long did it take to travel to this pyramid in the middle of a jungle?

Because about that long, gameworld time.

Rough guess: More than a week and a half?

Again-- I am actually surprised he's still alive. He should have infection and other bad juju by now. Maybe his blood is so alcoholic that germs cant get started? LOL.

See if that guy who looks like a cleric can help him.

We could ask the dwarf for "Medical Care".

No, let's not. :D

I wasn't active in Losing is Fun for a while, I am missing a bit of the lore. I'm sort of like that voice inside the head that went for an expedition to the Medulla Oblongata and then came back fresh with new deranged ideas.

Quick Recap:

Noi Dontwannacracker and co rescued the town leader's son from the bandits.
(In the process of the rescue, Edi got a little more copper in his diet than he would have liked.)

In recognition of our saving his boy, said local lord gifted us with a tract of land. ... Out in the boonies.

When we arrived, we found that the area was already inhabited by ibis/vulture people, who have a primitive shamanistic culture.
We did the poofy friendship dance, got high on some local entheogen, and received a prophesy that we must use the power of friendship to prevent a massive disaster.

Somehow, the topic of *SHEEP TALLOW BISCUITS* came up.  We went to the closest town to attempt to appropriate some, but were told nobody raises sheep.
We went to a nearby mountainous region, and hunted some mountain sheep. Edi ate the entire kill by himself, and absorbed unholy cuteness powers.
(It could just be pupillary dilation from blood loss however...)  Regardless, his cute powers seem able to control the cute sheep. We collected one.

We then returned to the tract of land we had been gifted, and started construction of a treehouse.

While there, we were greeted by a random human cleric and a dwarven retainer.  They told us about this tomb, and a shiny treasure inside.

We decided to go.

At no time in between did we get Edi medical care.

The human cleric explains that he can use his fire magic to cauterize the wound. You eat some cheese while you watch.

The dwarf says, "He's not fit for the tomb. Let's leave him to rest."

Hooray! Edi is now burned, but at least he isn't bleeding. Mission success.

I'm glad I assumed that the man with a tall hat had some sort of medicinal experience. We should leave him some cheese as an apology and a sustenance before we continue onwards. Maintaining friendship is key.

Doesn't fire make people bleed more in DF O_o
Regardless, Noi cheese nibbles are precious

give cheese to Edi, he needs it. give cheese to cleric too, he earned it. have pleasant cheese snack with friends before pressing on.

If possible, acquire ten-foot pole from the surrounding brush. Once we re-enter the tomb, use the pole to poke about liberally for traps.
