Goblins are lame.  They're all weak, like silly weak, but then there's always one that owns so much face it's freaky.  Enter Stozu Noramxu Ubosmrusmu Ng–tdo, the head Gobbo of the Towers of Torturing, and an Axe Lord.  I sent so many well-armed adventurers at her that her introduction speech was starting to scroll.  I finally thought I must be doing something wrong, so I sent an unarmed, Accomplished Wrestler at her.  And it was epicxcxcxcxx. Pulled the axe out of her hands and threw it down, same with the shield, gouged her eyes out and strangled her to death.  Stupid goblin.  The reason I'm posting this though, is wrestling really this much better than weapons, or was I just lucky?

Except for whips, which can't really kill anything unless you hit them with it a few hundred times, the weapons and skills are fairly balanced. Wrestling isn't better than weapons, neither are weapons better. Each form of combat has its advantages, but personally I like spears.

I tried to do the same with a human axelord once.

Accomplished wrestler, didn't go too well, as soon as I grabbed his weapon he cut me in two.

Yup. Damn lucky too.

Normally, you shouldn't have been able to even grab the weapon as you'll keep missing or failing.

I guess the gobbo was laughing too hard when he saw a weak little twerp come try steal his stuff to actually notice his stuff was being stolen.

Hm. A whip was the first weapon I ever used, to complete the first quest I ever got, the first time I ever played Adventurer mode. It was a dragon, and I somehow killed it without a scratch, armed with a whip.

I think I remember you (maybe it was someone else) posting something about killing a dragon with a whip, maybe a few months ago. I was just lurking then, I hadn't registered.

I admittedly ended up strangling the dragon with my whip to kill it, though not before I dodged two plumes of flame and whipped both its eyes out. Sitting on the dragon while strangling it was a bit anticlimactic, as it couldn't do anything to retaliate, but I was afraid that it'd immediately smite me if I let go of it.

I pick up a lot of stalkers on WoW and Warcraft 3, you can have some.

Wrestling is an easy way to deal with single adversaries, however, bowmen will rape you.

And high preists.... They killed my Legendary Wrestler.
