Using DF to create D&D Homebrew Worlds

I've been doing this for my campaigns and adding other things such as other races and magic and stuff that's not in the game, does anyone else do this?

I've heard of instances of people doing similar things, I've considered a few of my DF worlds for tabletop RPG conversion myself but never really gotten around to it.
