[5] You need a weapon, ASAP. There's nothing out here, the actual fuel area has been picked clean. You can tell that there's probably some fuel in a few of the pumps, but that's about it.

You get the impression that there's likely some stuff inside the gas station building itself, however.

[2] You try to glance around for a weapon, but your mind is a bit frazzled. This is your first street duel, it's all so much, and you're fighting a KID for godsake, what even is this. Kinda hard to focus.

Shade, acting with surprising grace and decisiveness, moves towards the gas station building. He will reach the inside on the next turn.

Vera's eyes go big as she sees the boy dash for the doors of the gas station, but she does little to stop him. She looks around fidgetingly, not making any big moves.

[1] As you reach the door, you find yourself running face first into a heap of spiderweb. You get a penalty to perception for the next turn.

[5] You realise exactly what the kid is doing. He's also looking for a weapon, there must be weapons inside the building that you can use!

Appearance: A tall skinny female with blonde hair cut short to avoid getting it tangled. She decided to wear her lab coat and long pants here so she doesn’t get blood on other clothes. Her eyes have light blue irises and are dilated since she works in the dark to save electricity for her equipment at home. She got the app so she could hopefully collect samples from various people to find out if the bacteria she grew will grow faster in some blood types than others

 [3] As you get into the gas station building you see a cash register counter to your left, and three shelves runnning the length of the small building. You see a male and female bathroom. You can't make out any items as your eyes adjust to near total darkness.

Your health is 60

[3] You are a few steps behind the kid, you can't see anything in the building due to his body blocking the way.

Your health is 80

Vera, hitting her stride, manages to push her way past Shade, entering the interior first. [1] In her rush, she slips on a newspaper page on the floor, falling face-first right onto the tiles. Vera is now prone.


Startled, but still focused, Shade looks around for any weapons he can use. [6] At one end of the middle shelf, he sees a tire iron, partially hidden underneath the bottom of the shelf. He picks it up, and turns around to look at Vera, still on the floor.

[4] You see the middle shelf where you got your tire iron, almost completely bare and stripped of any actual items. There's only a packet of pringles on its side, and a lighter left near the middle. You definitely got the best weapon from that shelf, not sure about the others.

[4] You can tell, looking up from where you hit your head, that the kid is holding a tire iron. Shit. There's probably nothing else from the middle shelf that you can use, otherwise the kid would have taken that instead.
