I would agree with OP (original poster).  Looks like a dwarf to me.

Legs are nice and short, so looks like a dwarf.
Maybe give him some dwarf-looking gear, like oversized armor or sth.
Wait he has a beer mug on his belt? Certainly a dwarf!

I don't know if I'd see a dwarf in this pic without reading the topic and discussion)) but now I definitely see somebody resembling a dwarf, maybe Asian dwarf with slightly narrow eyes.  But if I had no idea about a dwarf beforehand...well... I cannot know for sure whom I would see then ;D
