I don't think anyone besides the admin would even begin to have grounds to know. It'll happen when it happens.

What is a common time from forumites' experiences? I think mine took about a week perhaps

Around a week, if I recall right. Possibly less. Your friend might consider messaging Toady. I believe there are some email-related issues.

I'm pretty sure it was immediate for me, although that was back in 2013.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

Not gon' lie, I don't even remember there being an approval process. If it took time at all, it wasn't enough to stick in the memory.

... that said, I remember exactly nothing of the details of any registration processes I went through 14 years ago, so... I don't remember there not being one, either, ha.

Same, but then again, I registered before the great forum move of 2006

Its kinda silly to complain that a friendly NPC isn't a well designed boss fight.

Post count is what determines if you're an Escaped Lunatic or not.

I think something happened a year or several back where registration has to get approved through Toady, and yeah, it can take a bit. Turnaround for mine was a day or three, as memory serves. If it's more than a week, I'd raise an eyebrow, but otherwise, The Toad will get to it soon enough, I'm sure.

Huh, yeah, I wasn't aware there was an approval process now.

Big T needs to manually confirm, that was put in place to reduce the number of bots IIRC.Pretty sure he activated mine the same day.
