What if we say god is a specific plant somewhere
But what would happen if we smoke the god plant?

What if we say god is the teeth?

What if we say god is the hair?

What if we say god is a specific plant somewhere
this would explain why He doesn’t do a whole lot, plants can’t move, didn’t he talk to Moses by a burning bush?
Well that’s a specific god, the one I heard most about, perhaps the real deities are plant based, we don’t know

Welcome back NG1999!

He also talked via tablets or just visions. God works in mysterious ways.

I don’t remember what it’s called, but there are some who think that the whole universe has a distributed consciousness, maybe things with nerves have more of the consciousness concentrated than other things, I don’t remember the logic if any behind it

Sounds like a variant of pantheism.

If he was a plant that was burning that means he's dead, there for God is dead.

I don't think most Theologies would accept that God is the brain, as human brains only have conscious control a small part of what our bodies do.

Which is exactly why it's so compelling. Human brains are straight overpowered. What they're capable of on a unconscious level is amazing; and consider how many of your actions are determined by your unconscious.

I don't understand the premise here.  What do you mean by "the" brain? Do you mean a particular brain? Do you mean that everyone's brains are effectively gods?

This seems like an ill-defined premise.

Everyone's brain is their God. All the universe is determined by it after all...

Yes. This is a confusing thread. What does it even mean...?

To 'head' off this question;  look, put it in simple terms. When you pray isn't a pretty compelling argument that you're just trying to rattle your bizarre old brain into fulfilling your desires? It's fully capable of it after all.

As I said guys; what does this say about God?

What. Where's the compelling argument. I like to think God hears my prayers, which indeed are conceived in my brain, but you didn't provide anything concrete regarding Him literally being the brain.

Don't we already have a religion thread? Why didn't you use it?

Anyways, god is pretty much nowhere, and I would notice if he tucked himself in my cranium. Which is something he would do.

I wouldn't want God in my brain, watching what I do, and secretly judging me all the time, like some kind of judgmental bastard.

So the premise is that since all our senses are handled by our brains, they could do anything as far as our consciousness is concerned. And due to this apparent omnipotence, we can consider them "God"? Is that the riddle solved?

Or is the premise psychic powers?

Is there a way to turn His judgemental voice off or lower the volume? Should I attempt trepanation?  ???
Just block his number and get light blocking shades on the windows that's what I did to get away from his judgment.
