Think of this as holistic gameplay advice.

It ain't about the destination or the journey, it's about having fun.

Being a complete fucking psychopath of a murder hobo is not a philosophy

It is fun though, and kinda cathartic

"losing is fun, now it's personal." is usually my try and true philosophy for advmode.
Given how much you can do to make it seem like your invincible there always a chance of failure around any corner.
thus you seek out more ways to lose, as you may get a story out of it to tell others.

Try to restrain yourself from killing everything you see.

Eat; your adventurer must be starving traveling through wilderness.

No need to rush to be the greatest killer, you can always take it slow and try and get to know the history and lore of your world.

Try not to see advmode in a cynical way, it's indeed underdeveloped, but you just need to add imagination to the holes left by advmode. You can be  a farmer, you can be anything in that world it just require imagination.

Everything together falls apart.
Everything rising up collapses.
Every meeting ends in parting.
Every life ends in death.
