I guess Maximum Spin gets to be the tiebreaker. Neither Regiment choice has much to work on so I guess I'll put votebox choices for the rest of the Regiment stuff. If people insist I can just fill all the boxes with whatever, but I think players like to control this sort of thing.

First is Homeworlds. Homeworlds, in addition to flavor, give a small ability bonus, a set of skills, a benefit, and a flaw. Most are small and won't effect the game much. The most "generic" is Imperial world, which I would pick if you want incredibly generic guardsmen. Being a group of knights or cavemen is also an option.

If we’re not doing generic, I like the idea of some variety of formerly jailed conscripts or farmers being thrown in tanks and asked to shoot things.

I mostly copied from the 1d4chan list, which lists everything by point price. The most expensive will mostly be at the bottom.

You don't really have to worry about points that much. Especially if you get a drawback. Unless you go for the most expensive in everything you'll probably have points left over for more gear.

Details of current winning ties:

Special equipment:

Servitor Accompaniment: You have a little pet NPC called a Comrade. This option allows you to exchange your flesh-and-blood Comrade for a Servitor. As a second node Enginseers have a Servitor Comrade by default even without this equipment. A Talent allows you to get Ogryn, Ratling, Servitor, or normal Human companions without this.

Chameleonine: Everyone gets chameleoline cloaks or chameleoline lined armor. +20 stealth, -30 to any ranged attacks against you if you stand still.

Covert Strike: Synskin, preysense goggles, +10 to rolls at acquiring anything vaguely to do with stealth.

Drawbacks:
Primitive: -5 to using any weapon more complicated than a flintlock. That goes or both ranged and melee weapons. Logistic guys think you're idiots who can't be trusted with complicated tech so you get a -20 to anything that isn't low-tech. Technically you're not supposed to be able to take this if you also have a vehicle but I'll wave it for fun.

Doomed: In the game you have this thing called Fate Points. These can be spent for a variety of useful effects. They also act as mechanical plot armor, whenever you die you are able to "burn" a fate point instead of dying giving you effectively one extra life per fate point.

Unless you're Doomed. Doomed regiments can't do that part and just die. They also get a -10 penalty to all logistics, a -20 to random logistics, and the GM is encouraged to make life harder for them.
