Anyone know what this error means on a player character looked up on LB?

template: hf.html:159:26: executing "content" at : error calling events: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference

can you share the .xml files and the name of the character you are looking up on github? https://github.com/robertjanetzko/LegendsBrowser2/issues

this should be fixed now in 2.0.4 which adds support for some new events from 50.08. You can find the download at: https://github.com/robertjanetzko/LegendsBrowser2/releases

Hey Karater, DFHack will support creating the "_plus.xml" export file in the next release. It's available now in the dev builds if you'd like to test it for compatibility. It seemed to work when I tried with LegendsBrowser, but you'll be able to test much better than I could, I'm sure.

I'm glad to get back a legend browser, thank you for that :)

Small head-up: the first post still links to version 2.0.2, which is hit by the "too many redirections" issue.

Fantastic project, so much faster than LegendsBrowser 1.0!

I'm using it with xml exports from the steam version. It works, but there are many "UNKNOWN POSITION", "UNKNOWN OCCASION", "UNKNOWN JOB", etc. Is there a plan to extend functionality for this version of Dwarf Fortress?

It would probably be helpful to open an issue at https://github.com/robertjanetzko/LegendsBrowser2/issues and attach the problematic file. To your question: yes, there has already been some effort to add support for DF 50.x, judging by the release notes at https://github.com/robertjanetzko/LegendsBrowser2/releases. It's difficult to support every new DF feature because there isn't an exhaustive list of new features, so getting extra data like your XML file is generally helpful for third-party tools like this to support more features.

There was a typo in the siegers' campfire code. When the fires went out, so did the game.

@Karater Looks like we've got a lot of typos in here - (https://github.com/robertjanetzko/LegendsBrowser2/issues/14#issuecomment-1811994034) enough to apparently 'contaminate' quite badly the title of the issue by, I assume, clausimu.

This may or may not affect Legends Browser, but be aware the flags associated with world sites are being updated to new names, so, for example, world_site.flags.Undiscovered will now be world_site.flag.HIDDEN.

"This site can't be reached
local host refused to connect
Try:
  • checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"
note: the second to last time I tried opening legends browser, it said something about clearing cookies(which I did)

How did you start legends browser? Is it still running? you can check task manager, etc.
