It means you have not posted enough.

It seems you have made six posts. I think ten is the magic number to promote to Bay Watcher, aka regular member.

It doesn't affect anything. Though it is good to be able to see at a glance who has just now joined, and said members do often act like escaped lunatics. :p

Heheh, I actually joined around a year ago. It's just that I mostly lurk and read posts. I was just surprised that the forum knew about my past :o
