I agree with everyone else, we don't really have the ability to buy anything anyway - the one item that does interest me is that radio, but it's not exactly vital, and hopefully we can find one after (if) we get paid.

"Ah, yes. Since then, they've doubled the amount of ships in the system, and cargo checks have became mandatory for every ship in transit for any of the three Jump Gates. Merchants and liner captains complain the most, of course."

"And you?" Truang shrugs, while Roand drinks the remainder of his shot.

"I'm law-abiding citizen. It is inconvenient because sometimes I get these blushy recruits who have the 'unfortunate' distinction of having to personally check my pleasure merchandise. Their faces, I tell you, show they would rather not."

"There's been unrest and attacks on Fedpols?"

"Oh yes, for quite some time, apparently." Audrine quips and Truang nods along.

"Right, you were away. Lemme just-" He quickly takes a sip. "-I was just saying there were attacks on Fedpols in Alpha Midris system, which is in state of, well, revolt? They had very popular kinda-aristocratic family there, which was apparently quite good at running the administration and caring for their peoples. So the smallfolk, which now had to obey new laws and lost some things they rather liked about their little government, started protesting. So the Fedpols had to arrest the ringleaders. So the smallfolk got agitated. Took two years but finally the situation boiled over, and the locals stormed the local prison satellite and then sabotaged some patrol ships. I was in Alpha Midris last week, and the latest event was a bombing which took out a chunk of the planetside Fedpol HQ, along with some civilians in the area. Stay away from that place, barkeep." Truang raises his glass at you, then takes another sip of his drink.

Aldon clears off his glass, him and Roand both being dry at the moment.

A) "So how was Alpha Midris before the Federation got back?"
B) "They've bombed a Fedpol HQ? How did they manage to do it?"
C) "What do you think the Federation will do about it?"
D) Nod in agreement and let the folks converse.
E) Ask Roand and Aldon if they need anything else.
