Yes, even thrown butterflies and lizards are no match for the Zeal of Miles. When things don't get dodged or deflected, they almost always just bounce off of him.

...I can see it now:
"The Swordmaster blocks the flying lead bullet!"
"The Swordmaster blocks the flying lead bullet!"
"The lead bullet strikes the Swordmaster in the upper body!"
"The shot glances away."

This hold thread is epic.  I'm so tempted to make a dozen race civilazations just for the sake of ransaking them.

new awesomeness. A human play now of mine... took out an entire town, and half of another by himself. He found a very very sweet sword, stole it, and took out the first town. He died in the second town after taking no less than 10 bolts to the chest, but he hacked off the archer's legs as he fell.

Ok... how about... building up a groupe of uber adventurers and then retireing them in a city, then taking them on? that should be a chalange!

not really, considering if I hit once, it hits them bad enough to cripple, if that happens, my next blow will hit, and so on.

Ah yes! but thats the butey of it! they are such uber high skilled wrestlers, sheild users, armor users, and awsome with their weapons by the time you retire them that your guy will have to be at least as good as them to have much of a chance of hitting them! and they will be really good at hitting you! besides, even if you go with an arrow guy I thought someone said that a master somthing or other was diflecting the shots!

Of course I wouldn't want to kill my old adventurers, I'd recuit them!

Do the dungeon-type locations ever run out of inhabitants the way it sounds like the town-like locations do?

Yes, I mean the caves, ruins, and dark forts. I know the named guys can be killed, and I guess (?) they don't seem to come back (at least not immediately), but it seems like the unnamed ones just regenerate every time you come back, so killing those seems to have no effect. I guess that's the difference then - only named characters can be destroyed, and unnamed creatures regenerate immediately upon return from an outside map square?

But any time an unnamed creature kills a named creature, it gets a name. (And a legend.)
