So, will we eventually end up with 10.000 insane necromancers walled up for the rest of eternity?

Thats the plan, just imagine the goblin raider breaking in as 10,000 doors open as 99,999 mad necromancers and a weregoat run out.

Man just imagine the noise of all those insane necromancers screaming and babbling away.

So, question. Since this is to be a 10,000 dwarf fort and most forts are on the scale of 100 dwarves, should dwarfing not also be scaled up? With that in mind, I'll take ten dwarves, since your pop is still quite small. The Nordic hivemind shall endure!

Encountered the first quirk, necromancers don't like the recover wounded stuff, seems like every necromancer for themselves. They stop working all together but the moment you remove it, they are back to work. Ironically enough i wanted them to build a hospital for the injured dwarves. Think ive fixed it.

Hmmmm interesting. Like a Nordic clan. Cannot promise that they are all safe. Will make the next migrant wave nordics.

That could be a fun idea, Nordic!

I only hope that my namesake counterpart(s) will accept their place in eternal prison with dignity when the time inevitably comes

Yeah, necros get a -50 to trust and +50 to anxiety propensity, so that's probably why.

Ah that makes sense, it explains the high divorce rate. Hopefully things stablise and now all necros are unassigned to recovered wounded, we have a functional fortress. The regs will care for their necromancer brothers and sisters.

Release all of them, And then visit Cellbound in adventure mode. See how many pages of "I must withdraw!" you can create.

I'm excited to see where this goes, good luck!

That will be fun to see in action. Also had to let some of the necromancers out as they gave birth to more dwarven children

Also want to be dwarfed Obsidian?

Sure, If you have a Marksdwarf squad, I wouldn't mind being a few of those. Otherwise, I'm ok with planters.

1054 Report

An uneventful year, something interesting is the cries of dwarven children from the eternal vaults, opening the doors reveal that a new non undead generation can live. Such joy, we released the mothers and children so they can be raised in the fort proper. Our first for knowledge has our eyes on new towers as continue to decimate all we touch. Sorry to keep it short but nothing of note has occured.

May we rise and fall together
