Usually you just need to push them hard enough. Or if you do Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Judo, or a similar martial art, kuzushi.

The traits of Observation and Recognition to determine what type of Spatial Awareness those people are weak in, and the trait of Manipulation within that Spatial region.

I've heard that there are inner ear issues that can cause people to lose balance so I think one of those would work for the answer for this question.
