Look for any useful tools in the cage.
The perches are made of hard plastic, and they go through these little metal loops to hold them in place. Doesn't seem that secure, and a bit of poking gives you three light wooden rods that are about half as long as you are. They fit nicely in your beak and claws. There is a fourth, about twice your length. You can pick it up with some difficulty.
There's another one that's on a sort of swing thing that's a lot more fun, but it seems harder to get loose. Maybe if you had something to help?
The water thing is soft plastic and drips water out the bottom to replace what you drink from it. It's quite full and heavy, but soft. It's latched to the outside of the cage, so you don't think it'll be too useful.. maaaybe you can get it off, but then it'll just fall down where you cant reach it. Still, there's lots of water.
You do have a tray for non-paper food. It's a metal dish, also attached to the cage, tied to two different bars by more wires. There are also some very dry seeds in it, ancient pumpkin seeds, all dried up. They're not as tasty as the good paper.
Then there's your toys. You have a few other sticks, these ones made of hard plastic and of varying length. There's also a spinning contraption, pretty large but still small enough for you to spin around with your feet. It's made of wooden panels that seem to be well stuck into slots inside a metal rim. It's mounted somewhat firmly across the width of an alcove in your cave. It's stuck in there pretty solidly, you had another one but ate one of the panels. So the new one is much tougher, but maybe you could work something with it?
There's also your bell. It's on a thin rope hanging from the cage top, just tied off. But you didn't want to break it, it's much harder to make ring if it isn't tied.
Lastly, there's a cloth the humans can put over your cage to make it dark. Although you haven't done it yet, last time they used it you discovered that you could pull part of it through the bars. It's made of some kind of unappetizing cloth, but it's sturdy and quite large, as there's enough cloth to cover most of your cage. Right now it's just sitting on top, within easy reach.
Bird! You're a dinosaur! Also a small flying one.
Healthy! You're all fine! For now!
Full! For now, your bottomless pit is sated.
Woodchipper. Can digest cellulose. Paper, wood, it's all the same. This is in addition to normal bird stuff.
Secret Dinosaur. +1 to all stealth-related actions. This bonus is lost if someone calls you a dinosaur.
Flying Stomach. +1 to eating. Gets hungry much more quickly. Starts game hungry.
Items: Four sheets of fairly hard paper. Four round plastic rods, three about your length, one much longer. About a dozen flat thin plastic sticks of varying length.
