The World

Recent volcanic activity on Yanardag Seamount has expanded the island, creating new land, while shrinking the seafloor that surrounds it. There is a minor expansion on the Çay Uplift, as well.

The island now supports three more species, and the shallows three less. The uplift have also expanded by three new species slots.

It clings to the ocean surface and has ground-holding tentacles that acts as roots. It, as an entire species, now forms an unbroken jungle all throught the Guguli Shallows, and are the defining faulora of the biome.

It is a veiny, gelatinous UFO-shaped disc that is 30 centimeters in diameter, with a beating heart and a small clump of nerves at its center. This sack also carries seaweed spores from one plant to another like a bee, fertilising them in the process. It floats using the gasses that the algea inside its body produce, swimming by rippling its slimy tissues.

A photosynthesizing, predatory, spherical animal 30 centimeters in diameter, with a cluster of nerves and a beating heart at the center and a ring of long gill extensions on its equator. It does this with very little electric footprint, making it unobvious to predators. They reproduce via budding much smaller Turnips, that are ejected via the host coughing them up.

An apex predatorial, true amphibious animal the size of a football with many long, hyperflexible, very muscular, skin penetrating, paralysing venom-coated tendrils that also function as legs on land, a brain comparable to that of a parrot, an efficent, closed circulatory system, a carnivorous digestive tract with a set of sharp teeth and a very tough, calcified, isolative, heavy shell. They swiftly jet around and launch up by pushing water off a powerful water siphon, and breathe by another, smaller siphon lined with water-retaining gills, which can also function on land for very long periods. I am rejoicing. So I think it might be time to pause conflict in the Shallows, which seems nicely balanced once again now that I've restocked the herbivores. The main problem with that zone is excessive predation from the Turnips which keep getting deadlier.

I'm definitely going to do something with Lauv island (with legs!), but I might also give a new branch to the ancient Uncod. Hmmmm...

Skyward Blimpie crosspolinates/speciates: switch to using gas as a propellent, using algae within the body producing it as a biproduct. A trick gathered from Lawnkeeper Glidee. They also gain omnivorous tendencies, eating of the fruits, and having their own spore chamber for docking with each other to produce spore offspring. [SS Roll]

Fae Barmbesium crosspolinates: Switch to using gas as a propellant. It's produced within the body from algae, a trick gathered from Lawnkeeper Glidee. They also gain omnivorous tendencies, eating of the fruits, and having their own spore chamber for docking with each other to produce fertilized spores.

Fae Barbesium speciation:
\One linage switches to gathering air directly rather than from water, creating a lighter than air creature. It promptly migrates to Lauv Island, using it's fin-tipped tentacles to navigate the skies with it's jet used to drop on and drug prey, which it swiftly eats before re-ascending. It's spends much of it's awake time in the air, dropping in from above in small groups to overwhelm prey. When it rains they gather together to "talk" on solid surfaces and spread their spores.
