Will building a glass roof over the entire embark land area block evil rain?

I'm getting tired of malodorous filth raining and collecting into pools.

A megaproject seems like the way to solve it.

yeah. unless I'm mistaken, rain appears at the top z-level and falls like you would expect.

 though, the wiki has no further detail, so now I'm curious myself.

At least snow does this, so I'd assume the same is with other types of rain.

Yeah, any floor will block the falling of the muck, then as time goes on, dwarfs will clean up the muck remaining below the roof.
