Well.. First off: This death was not mine, it was from the most amazing "normal" axeman that I ever saw...

The ruler of a human kingdom, asked me to kill a skeleton (in a funny phrase...)

There are a place named Paperwell
In 1063 the Frameletter from Paperwell killed Enum
Kill Odominak from Paperwell

I went to hunt the Odominak... With a single Axemen to help, he was crazy, fast and insane, he started to run around killing everyone, we nearly cleaned everything, with me killing only about 2 zombies and 3 skeletons, he killed WITHOUT help 7 zombies, and 13 skeletons (I do not know how...)

I entered the tower, and he went around running and killing things outside of my view...
Then I saw the messages of he attacking a zombie, and getting his axe stuck on the zombie...

Then he started to twist the axe, while I was desesperate searching for him before the zombie kills him...

The zombie do not made any damage to him, I knew that I was close (later I discovered that he was in the floor below) and then this message:

A <Iron> fly though Axeman.
Axeman was been struck down.

Then I imaginated: Damn... WTF was that?
And then i saw it... The Odominak, was a Elite Skeleton Bowman...

He saw me, and shot me at the head, and MISSED!

Then he shot my leg, and nearly ripped the leg off, I then done only one move, and my axe chopped his head off, I saw a item on the ground, walked near it, and the game crashed after 2 hours playing without saving...

Now the second history:
I was killing everything on a sewer (cave named sewer), then a giant mole apeared, and in his first attack managed to rip off my left arm, I then hacked the front leg of the mole off, the mole ripped my foot off, I hacked another front leg of the mole off, then the mole got latched in my lower body, then I latched my axe in the mole upper body, I started to twist the axe, and the mole to shake me, after some turns the mole went uncounsious I removed the axe, and came to the finishing blow, I hacked another leg off...
Then he mole got "alive" again (in the next turn, yes!) and got my throat, and ripped it away...

Amazing save: This was quite a while ago, but I was playing with a speardwarf(I love spears...) and was on a quest to kill an ettin. I was not very experienced and don't remember if I had any followers. Anyway, I eventually faced the ettin. After a few glancing shots and the ettin bashing me, but only managing to badly bruise me, I finally managed to pierce the ettin's right upper arm(dark yellow wound). And the spear stuck.

After that I skipped around the ettin, trying to retrieve my spear by rushing in, grabbing it by wrestle and hopping away. The ettin lands a few blows but still nothing serious. Eventually I grew tired and decided to finish this or die. One last jump in and I twisted the spear in the wound instead. The ettin tried to beat me into a pulp but only partially succeeded. He eventually lost consciousness and I could remove the spear and stab him at leisure.

Even after killing a fortress-emptying demon with another character, this is still probably my most satisfying kill ever.

I'm incredibly frustrated at the moment and I've made a decision.

As much as I like to have lot followers like a mercenary group, I hate when they kill every single monster before I even realize that we're not alone. (Damn their enemy radars)

I was cleaning a ruin with a party of four incredibly experienced swordman who were slaying undead everywhere. I just seemed to always be in a wrong place and only saw about five zombies while my 'friends' were having slaughtering parties somewhere.

I got frustrated and entered a ruin to find some kills. Nothing for a few levels, until I took a one tiny step around a certain corner. There it was a green "U" just standing there on the other end of hallway. I quickly began hatching a plan for killing it until I noticed there was already a *copper arrow* in my throat.

I wasn't going to sell my skin so easily and rushed at the Zombie Human Elite bowman. Didn't even make a one step. Another arrow and death by bloodloss.

If only those idiot 'friends' wouldn't have hogged all the kills, I could have been much more experienced and cabable of surviving.

At least I got revenged. Just after I had died one of my pals ran around the corner got only shot into her already crippled elbow. Then she just ran there and bashed that elite bowman with her shield. After that she bashed another elite bowman, couple of zombies and a macelord before died by the hand of a swordmaster. All of those monsters around that one corner and she killed most of them.. with a shield.  

If they'd were more intelligent, I wouldn't even have to carry weapons.

I was given a quest to kill a kobold master thief, so descended into a kobold cave and managed to slay everything that challenged me. I grabbed some nice loot, and descended to the second level, where I met the master thief and some of his goonies. I dispatched them all with ease.
