Can't Sell FB Silk Clothing [Solved]
« on: February 22, 2023, 03:11:21 pm »

I have hundreds of worn Forgotten Beast Silk socks that I can't sell. They are not claimed, not forbidden, and they are accessible. I can sell the worn llama wool socks but not the FB silk socks. Any ideas on how to get rid of them? I'd use an atom smasher but there are too many master level socks that would crush the souls of their creators.

There's no trauma if they degrade "naturally, so something like:
- pause sock production
- use Stocks and forbids so only FB silk socks are unforbidden
- make a binned stockpile that accepts both silk socks and Refuse/Footwear
- once the socks are binned, lock the door and wait

How did I manage to successfully apply the lessons of The Screwtape Letters to my perceptions of big grocery stores?

Thank you, this did the trick! Several thousand FB socks, vests, cloaks, etc, etc, are now gone and not a single bad mood.

"Why do you throw all your old clothing in the rot pit? Why not just smash it?"

"It would scar the tailors to see their masterful handiwork destroyed in such a crude manner... so instead we throw it outside in a big wet pile where it molds and rots and is chewed apart by rodents, until the rain washes it away."

"Ah, just like Armok intended."
