Forming an Order
« on: February 27, 2023, 01:27:15 am »

You knew this day would come. The Order of Things has banished you and your followers from the Order for going against the Will of the Council. What was the Will of the Council that you went against? Even though you were a (insert Rank) they wouldn’t see your way. Oh well you and your followers would make a New Order. Proving that The Order of Things is not the end all be all.

Answer the following prompts:
What was the Will of the Council that you went against?
What Rank in the Order were you? Grandmaster, Council Master, Master, Knight
What is the name of the New Order you are founding?

Also: Once we get done with creating the Order if people want to be members in the Order Please fill out the following app:
Name:
Rank in Order: (Initiate, Neophyte, Apprentice, Knight)
Skill:(Dependent on Rank)

I plan on keeping this a lean game to make it easier for me to keep up with it.

Pardon, master, but wouldn't something more impressive, such as the Order of the Chamber of Oil be more suitable?

Ah yes, they wouldn't allow you to eat deep fried food. So know you want always be know as The Order of Fries(not be confused with ordering fries). You took with you 2 Masters, 4 Knights, 3 Apprentices, 11 Neophytes, and 14 Initiates.

Your old order considered knowledge and the pursuit there of to be of highest importance. Thus skill level was based around that. What do you base the skill level on in The Order of Fries?

Also when it comes to filling out the ranks do you accept anybody(thous meaning you will always have max initiates) or a select few(you gain a random number of initiates a turn)?

Do you fill out a council to advice you and if so of who?

The Order of Fries:
Grandmaster: 0 -> 1(max)
Council Masters: 1 -> 0
Masters: 2
Knights: 4
Apprentices: 3
Neophytes: 11
Initiates: 14

Was not expecting this.

Edit: If you have questions ask away.
Also you can now fill out apps if you want to rp a bit in the order:
Name:
Rank in Order: (Initiate, Neophyte, Apprentice, Knight, Master)[Grandmaster is reserved for A_Curious_Cat if he wants it]
Skill:(Dependent on Rank)

Knowledge and the pursuit of it sounds like a good idea I say we steal it, claim that we came up with it first and tell people that our old order stole the idea from us.

Master Zultan's wise advise to keep knowledge and the pursuit there of to be the primary skill-set of The Order is met with praise. The Grandmaster's assistant(me the GM) has recommended him for a council master spot. No one has seen the Grandmaster since the founding(A_Curious_Cat if you want to rp as the Grandmaster it is yours).

The Grandmaster(or the masters and knights) do need to decide how recruitment will go. Do you accept anybody(thous meaning you will always have max initiates) or a select few(you gain a random number of initiates a turn)? Either way masters and knights can personally recruit people that they think will add to the The Order.

Note: Next main post will be turn 1.

The Order of Fries:
Grandmaster: 0 -> 1(max)[?A_Curious_Cat?]
Council Masters: 1 -> 0
Masters: 2[Zultan]
Knights: 4[Convection]
Apprentices: 3
Neophytes: 11
Initiates: 14

If you are not filling out an app then you can vote on anything.

What skills are available for the Grandmaster position?

Also, other names for the Order of Fries that were considered:

The Order of Stuff.

The Order of Junk.

The Order of Crap.

The Order of Shit.

…then my mind stumbled upon the Order of Fries…

No extra skills, mostly you get the finally say in all things. The skill is really a number that is added to any rolls you as a character have to make. The Grandmaster has the best skill of all. Also it is mostly fluff, this is an SG with some rp mechanics.

Nice Orders, I might use those in the game...

The Order of Shit.
Now that's an order you wouldn't want to get to close to, but at least you can smell them coming.
