Obviously looking to cooperate with others. I'd much rather send Ugnan in with a second adventurer than alone, since 2HP is pretty sketchy solo. Also, it'd be good to rent a weapon from someone, so they don't need to go in with just a stick.

I could work with finacing the weaponry if you want we can come to some rental or loot share agreement...

I suggest a 50/50 loot split, if you buy the leather armour from Quarque, and the shortsword from the store. I'll pay the expedition fee. That works out to roughly the same level of investment from both sides, making 50/50 a fair split (I think).

Well, the adventurer you are looking to support really needs it. Only 2 hp and high strength but low dex, so he has to get into melee range.

If you don't want to pay a fair price that's ok, but then I will sell it to the shop instead. It wouldn't become available to buy in that case. It could be a while before a new one appears.
