Night troll kidnapping

Night trolls could either kidnap people by catching travelers in the wilderness at night, or infiltrating a location as a visitor to persuade a person to follow them outside by shape-shifting into a sapient creature and appearing benign. Ideally, the latter could be encountered in fort mode.

How exactly would you intervene against the siren's song of a night troll trying to lure dwarves away?

Probably a lovely interview with your fortress guards or your hammer. Ideally, disguised night creatures could be detected by knowledgeable dwarves or an observant player.
