Does using a one-handed weapon with multigrasp increases damage?

Like the longsword of dnd (1d6 for one hand, 1d8 for two hands),

Is it powerful if my dwarf use a one-handed weapon with both hands without a shield?

Gripping the sword with two hands increases accuracy, which means you'll deal more damage in total.
Missing or partially missing really lowers your damage.
