Bad thoughts after moving my petitioned guildhall?
« on: March 26, 2024, 01:22:36 am »

If my dwarves have petitioned for a guildhall and I've set it up to their standards, are they disturbed if I need to clear it so I can move it to a different z-level? If so, is this a one-time emotional disturbance for them or will it repeat until I've completely reestablished the guildhall?

I think you should be able to associate a second zone with the guildhall, then delete the first zone.

I don't recall doing this with guildhalls, but I have made temples with multiple zones.

When I once accidentally removed a guildhall, they simply again petitioned for one. So, actually more good thoughts...

I'm not sure if it's new good thoughts, but yes.

So you don't have to jump through hoops, just remove the hall and put it elsewhere.
