Elsewhere, another rematch begins, though the prior winner is now faced with greater foes.

Crystalizedmire's armored Kyle Seven readies his short sword and makes sure his armor is in place...

Let the Battle... commence!

Now that we're moving beyond 1v1 battles, things are a little too complex for auto-battling. I'll do my best to keep things moving, regardless.

No need for subtlety when it's two vs one!

Dart Storm and then savagely beat that nerd.

Egan_BW vs. FiveBalesOfHay:

Speed Order:
-Everyman (5) - Egan_BW
-Pronobius (4) - Egan_BW
-Granite (2) - FiveBalesOfHay

Turn 1:

Everyman hurls his twin daggers at the stoic Granite, dealing 4 damage and reducing Granite to 10 Health.

Pronobius follows up, hurling two Flailing Punches at Granite, dealing (1d2=1) (1d2=2) 3 damage, and further reducing Granite to 7 Health.

Granite doesn't seem very affected by this (actually, he's quite upset), and hurls a single Flailing Punch at Everyman. Everyman takes (1d2=2) damage, a truly devastating blow which reduces him to 9 Health.

Crystalizedmire vs. IronyOwl:

Speed Order:
-Jack Chandler (8) - IronyOwl
-Kyle Seven (7) - Crystalizedmire
-Lancer (6) - IronyOwl

Turn 1:

Jack Chandler, the man everyone wanted but only one player acquired, opens his vest to reveal a large set of darts, which he hurls up and rains down upon Kyle Seven!

Kyle Seven takes (2d2=2, 2-1=1) 1 damage from the barrage of darts, leaving him with 6 Health.

Kyle Seven runs past Jack to deliver two Slashes against Lancer, dealing 4 damage and leaving him with 7 Health.

Undeterred, Lancer strikes at Kyle Seven with two Flailing Punches, dealing (1d2=1, 1-1=0) (1d2=2, 2-1=1) 1 damage, leaving him with 5 Health.

While this harm is minimal, Kyle tastes blood, and realizes - he's been poisoned! Lancer's Poisoned Weapon... er, fists, left behind a lasting mark.

Kyle Seven accumulates Poison 1, and takes 1 damage at the end of the turn, leaving him with 4 Health.

Egan_BW vs. FiveBalesOfHay:

Speed Order:
-Everyman (5) - Egan_BW
-Pronobius (4) - Egan_BW
-Granite (2) - FiveBalesOfHay

Turn 2:

Everyman still has one dagger left, but he neglects it in favor of his fists (both of them!). Considering that this deals (1d2=2) (1d2=2) 4 damage, perhaps it was a good decision. Granite is forcibly dropped to 3 Health.

"You can do it, Pronobius!" He cheers on his comrade, who takes two flailing swings of his own. (1d2=1) (1d2=1)

When he's done, Granite is still standing, having taken 2 damage, not nearly enough to defeat him. Granite is left with 1 Health.

Granite yells, and with the last of his strength, furiously punches at Everyman, doing (1d2=1) 1 damage, leaving Everyman with 8 Health.

It turns out teamwork is effective.

Crystalizedmire vs. IronyOwl:

Speed Order:
-Jack Chandler (8) - IronyOwl
-Kyle Seven (7) - Crystalizedmire
-Lancer (6) - IronyOwl

Being out of darts, Jack Chandler follows up with his flailing punches, a very common technique in the halls of the Gladiator. (1d2=2, 2-1=1) (1d2=2) Jack nearly deals 4 damage, but the last of Kyle's armor ablates it, so instead he only takes 3 damage.

Kyle Seven is left with 1 Health.

Kyle Seven nearly falls over, his low durability his undoing, but he unleashes one final attack against Lancer, two slashes to inflict a painful 4 damage, leaving Lancer with 3 Health.

Lancer looks down at the dying warrior, and finishes him off with a pair of blows, dealing (1d2=2) (1d2=1) 3 more damage.

Were Kyle not already dead, that would have poisoned him further, as well.

IronyOwl wins their matchup, and earns 1 Point for Battle Phase 2!
