Pure sugar should be a sand that can make glass. Rock candies should replace crystal rock. Fondent would make a wonderful crafting object. Evil dark chocolate trees and good light chocolate trees! Purring maggots should prduce milk choclate (awful pun). Jello should be with the cheeses. Gems could include various kinds of pies, cakes, and cupcakes, as well as cheesecake. Replace all the dyes with food coloring. Since the world is going to be as unmanly as possible, unicorns must remain, but be much less deadly. Roses should pop out of the ground. Hell, I'm willing to go through the word files and add a bunch of happy words and remove all the evil and untoward and such words. Perhaps the ambushing civ could be a bunch of "business men" whose clothing is all things like 1-piece suits and bowling hats and weapons like a suitcase and a fax that shoots files.

This looks like some of the old notes form Armok 1. Sorry about that.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Roaming the Land, there are such animals as Gummi Bears, and replacing the dreaded carp, Swedish Fish.  Vermin such as Gumi Worms exist.  And we don;t have kobolds anymore, we have... Sour Patch Kids...

Megabeast: Stay Puff Marshmallow Man... (Ghost Busters)
Megabeast: Gingerbread Man... (Shrek)

I agree with ThingyMaster: You could have candy based plants as mentioned!  Anise = licourish.  Cacao = Chocolate.  Candy corn stands for itself.  Sugar Cane.  Marsh Mallow, the original source of the surfactant to make Marshmallows (See my ecology mod).

It probably isn't candy-ish enough, but we need the Pillsbury Doughboy as a megabeast.

If nobody else is making this, I will. It's the best idea ever.

Edit: My bad, misread it to just be brainstorming.

Damn. Fighting a dragon in chocolate armour = dumb.  Maybe crossbows could be turned into some form of bubbly cola launcher thingy. Add in Mentos for bolts, and you've got yourself a viable weapon.  Against peppermint demons and gingerbread megabeasts at least.

All living things would have to be delicious or fluffy in some way, unless evil. Dwarves = gingerbread, elves = cake fairies(or something!), etc

Magma would definitely need to be turned into hot chocolate, and gems would need to be varieties of hard candies. I think trees would be very well replaced by varieties of mint, too. Stones are a bit more limited, but I think flavors of fudge, toffees, caramels, powdered sugars, and cotton candy would be suitable.

Metals could be varying types of chocolate, too. There seem to be enough kinds to replace a majority of the ores, at least. There could be specialty ores such as white chocolate, cookies & creme chocolate, mint chocolate, etc, as well.
