Hell, if he won't I will.  I'll at least be open to slap in some minor things like a few plant species or rock types for whoever does go about this.

Chocolate probably wouldn't make all that bad of an armor really. As long as hammers aren't involved. It just isn't all that flexible. Small daggers would have trouble getting through without a good, solid swing.

Chocolate swords? Forget about it.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Chocolate swords are devastating when all you have is gumdrop armor.  :D

Seriously though, I soooo want to make this myself. I might make my own version of it, for kicks. >>

Fiiiiine, I'm making one now. I'm replacing dwarves with gingerbread men, and going from there. I might alter the init file to change all of the colors into sickeningly sweet hues.

Fenrir, I am already working on this mod. In fact, I have already finished the matgloss files (though I haven't tested the new plants yet).

Novocain, let me know whether you'd like to merge our projects. I've sent you a PM in that regard.

The matgloss files are available for download, should anyone wish for a sneak peek into the mod.

Huh. So we do have private messaging here. And apparently I have several other ones that make me look like a jerk for not answering.  :(

Do you have any files besides the matgloss? I can go in and rename the various creatures and such, if you'd like. One question, though... should most of these things be given the [NOBONES] tag? Half of my planned creatures are made from gelatin...

Would anyone mind using a modified init file, to allow for reasonably eye-cancer-causing colors? I can't seem to modify any colors besides those already listed in the init.

There should be some type of monster that attacks you by injecting you with diabetes. On the note someone should find a way for Wilford Brimley to factor into this.
