Item/Furniture Subtypes in Reactions

I'm working on a colored glass mod that revolves around using raw glass and reagent stones to make rough gemstones that represent glass. I'm curious however, as to how to make reactions that use the subtypes of furniture that glass uses. For example, tubes instead of pipes, or portals instead of doors. How would I word a reaction if I wanted these types of furniture? A ruby gold glass mug seems kind of cool but I'd rather have a ruby glass goblet instead of a ruby glass mug.
