Can dwarves go into a fey mood if they have the NOEMOTION tag on them?
I'm making a quick little mod to make the game easier (read: Near-impossible to lose) because one of my friends wants it but I don't want fey moods gone.

I think NOTRANCE is what gets rid of fey moods and martial trances, so as long as you dont use that you're all right.

I've already gotten several possessions and martial trances, but no fey moods yet, so I just thought I'd make sure...  Thanks for that.

Well actually there's no "notrances", there's "TRANCES" token which SHOULD be on.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that [TRANCES] only affects martial trances anymore. I know they used to be mutual but the that has changed recently I believe. The ability to make artifacts is inherent in civilization entities now.

Well there must be some tag for it.  It's either in the creature entry or the civ entry, and I haven't found anything in the civ entry that seems related.

But then again, "[TRANCES]" doesn't seem very related either.

Why don't you simply make 2 folders of DF, one with artifacts and one without, by setting it in init?
