Temperature interactions between objects
« on: March 06, 2008, 05:59:00 pm »

How exactly do objects interact when they have [FIXED_TEMP:x]? That is, if you set a material to have a fixed temp, will it transfer that temperature to something close by?

I was pondering the idea of creating a stone type that has a naturally high fixed temp (something tolerable that won't burn dwarves) and allowing a hatch to drop a rock with a low specific heat and low ignition point onto the hot stone floor. Hopefully, it would start the igniting rock on fire immediately.
