Faces of Mu cancels WoW account: Playing too much. 

(I actually did this for this reason two days ago! I actually met three of the criteria for addiction according to the DSM-IV!)

What ruined wow for me was the way people acted like it wasn't a game, it was more like a second job, and moreover, a job that involves sitting in a dark room working things out with lots of numbers.
Which is what happened to a friend of mine. Gone was any RP aspect of the game, all he cared about was crit chances and things that would allow him to climb pvp and arena ladders and things.
I just wandered around and observed the scenery, which explains why 4 months in he was level 70 and I was about level 35.
Each man to his own, I suppose.
