"You are in a maze of twisty little corridors, all alike" is pretty apt if you've ever hunted a minotaur in adventure mode.
Anyway, in Z.:G.I., there was a spell which turned purple things invisible and invisible things purple, so that's why I started this nonsense.

Minotaur?  All caves are like that.  I've spent more than an hour in some caves, only to give up.

What I hate are dead ends. Empty tunnels going forever just to end and make you turn around.

OK, fine, but I've just finished killing a Minotaur that was at the bottom of it's pit. Ogres are normally hanging around the top.

Except ogres aren't semimegabeasts.

Who would have thought that one comparison between D.F. caves and that bit in Zork would cause my downfall?

Except creatures, they're solid black.

It's dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Fortunately this is DF. Grues are the least of your problems.

No! It's a Deep Crow!

Why am I insulted by the total nonsense of this thread?
Shouldn't it be in "Various nonsense" anyway? It's very little DF-relevant, some man was lame in raws, is it the reason to start describing some unexistant "short sword" and a fake way to make them? I mean, this game is already complex and with such threads in official forum the new users will think that the jokes like that are real; it will make a lot of funny myths like exploding booze or way to make the items without adjectives...
I c*mmed =).

I for my part think this thread is both relevant and funny.

It's pretty funny; if you have missing textures in Source games (HL2, GMod, etc) it's purple and black.

A +roast+?  Is that the Dwarven equivalent to a Twinkie?

Man, I was hunting enemies today for their cloth, but one of them killed me with a weapon.

I suddenly have the urge to make a "bone dry" mod...

The only metal is "metal". The only rock is "rock". The only wood is "wood". The only plant is "plant". The drink is "brew". The only non-dwarf creature is "creature". The only vermin is "vermin". And so on.
