Man, I was hunting enemies today for their cloth, but one of them killed me with a weapon.

And the bone dry mod sounds  heck of a lot like my old Simplicity mod, back before I started screwing it up by adding more things.

I suddenly have the urge to make a "bone dry" mod...

The only metal is "metal". The only rock is "rock". The only wood is "wood". The only plant is "plant". The drink is "brew". The only non-dwarf creature is "creature". The only vermin is "vermin". And so on.
I would play that mod. How far could you go with it? Can you change all crafts to "craft" or is that different?
Also, mechanics would look at home for the first time.

There are some limits imposed. The game needs at least four metals, for one thing. It also has some quirky requirements in regards to files and their contents.
