I'm at the moment standing in an goblin tower where dwarves and goblins seem to coexist together peacefully. I even talked to one of the goblins. I wonder what the hell happened here.  ;D

Wow that was fast.

My Standard World genned in about a minute.  I'm starting at the year 200.

Wait, it was a medium world.  Man, this new version has fried my brain.

Oh man, this is exciting. I wonder if my PC can handle the new worldgen.

It takes hella long compared to what it used to, but just generate a smaller world and you'll be fine.

EDIT: Ok, maybe not hella long, but still substantially longer.

Actually it was way faster for me. I was expecting to finish my dinner while the world is generated, but it generated in like 2 minutes...

Gah!  When I'm at work too!  Now I'll never be productive, and I can't even play DF, as I can't download things here.

Oh well, world gen still looks sweet.

Odd how "Experiment" in DF is often synonymous with "Raging inferno of death and dispair"

I can't find the list of wars'n'such.  Is it something I have to find in adventure mode?

I found it.

Is that a swamp cutting a road?  They weren't doing it until maybe two days ago, when I saw one and ignored it.  I guess it's broken for some reason.  There was this part that should specifically dry them up...  maybe it died when I fixed the bridges or something.

It's a murky pool. It's happening everywhere.

I'm finding world gen to be very quick, but the game then often starts very early, ie the year 100 during the Age of Myth.. I'm wondering if this is intentional.
