40d - not getting happy thoughts from mist

i've got a little dining room built over the ocean, and its always packed with dwarfs.  waves crash on/under/in it, and its constantly filled with mist.

none of the dwarfs are getting any happy thoughts from the mist.

 Apparently, ocean mist does not count as good thought mist.

 As I would imagine. After a few waves you would be covered in a healthy layer of salt.
