Actually, a similar bug appeared in another curses game, after playing it for an extended period of time.  WW1 Medic threw an error upon closing, and the process remained running even though the window was closed.  It probably isn't related to this but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

Hmmm Im starting to see why they call it curses.
