I like the batmen riding giant bats. bat Bat bat Bat bat Bat bat Bat.

I like all the animal mounts. Giant sloths in particular, because I like extinct animals.

Also, once we get snakes (Toady said something about needing to deal with them falling over) giant cobras would be awesome and giant cobra mounts would be better.

And giant eagles and giant bats as mounts. Maybe mounts that aren't domestic should be incredibly rare and valuable, the perfect way for a civ leader or a lucky/rich guy to show off his wealth/luck.
The luck part is about the thief with the giant eagle.

I can forsee a glaring problem with giant sloth mounts.

I think it's more of a megatherium than an upsized sloth.
