Err... I don't get how to use the map-creator-thingy.

Mind elaborating? Or posting a link to a wiki-article/thread?

Got a question...I was playing 38c up until this update, but once I got the update I noticed something - I can't go to 'd' menu and mass-forbid whole areas like I could earlier. What's up with that? Was the forbid option moved? Am I just retarded and forgetting where it was? Or was, it God forbid (no pun intended) taken out intentionally and I have to forbid every item by hand now? I can't imagine what the reason for that would be but unless it's a mistake, I don't know what else to think...
What's the deal?

That's what I was referring to by having to forbid things one at a time instead of mass-forbidding them - doing it one by one is tremendously time-consuming, not to mention a huge step backwards in interface quality, as if to undermine the awesomeness of mass building.

What am I missing here?

Go to d menu, press b, you'll be able to dump/hide/melt mass items from there.

I mean, d-b-f

All the mass forbid/dump/hide/unforbid/keep/show options are on the same screen.
