I'll start. Cave acclamation? it used to be nigh-permanent, but now, it goes away.

I might be wrong about this.

You mean cave adaptation? Cave acclamation would be a bit different.

I got sunburned in the week of nice days we've had lately. I guess that means I'm partially cave adapted.

Dwarves stagger their sleep schedules much earlier, and also seem to sleep less.

They've also seemed to change their directional preferences when building...though I can't quite tell if it's more or less random, or maybe even the same.

Ah, good. I thought I was the only one who noticed this.

I've seen haulers who, when needing to chose between two stockpiles that are the same distance away, tend to linger on the spot before deciding, or even worse, who walk alternatively away and to the stockpile.

I embarked on a cliff so narrow that I never got a wagon... rather than having it explode, thankfully.

Hi!

Currently, I am spending most time generating worlds, so here is something very nice I noticed:

Terrain changes over history.

I saw a dwarven mountain fortress once and there was a forest nearby. Over time, several of the tree symbols got replaced by hill symbols. So, I guess the dwarves needed some firewood.

Amusingly enough, about 6 tiles or so away, there was what I believe to be a small elven settlement, and at least at one point, a tile near that changed, I think from hill to forest, but I am not 100% sure about that.

Yeah me too!
I think I may have reported is as a possible bug: it would be better to check for spots that are wagon accessable (beginning from the direction of the mountainhomes) and see how far the truck can trundle up that mountain before the picks need to come out.

Was fun to see all the stuff scattered on the ground though.
"Oh no, the cart has tipped over!"

ps Did you check whether there were 3 towercap logs present, I forgot to.

(Edit: Update, I am a fool. Paintheld was a fortress I made, I forgot I made it. Looks like it WAS too good to be true.)

Did you know you can go onto certain mountain tiles in adventurer mode now during world travel? I'm not sure what the triggers are though, but it only applies to some.

I don't think these were documented and they aren't exactly hard to find, but they are things, and I think they're cool. 

Characters in adventure mode now how a symbol next to their name to show their sex.

You can now ask a character in adventure mode about their profession, and they'll either tell you, or if they're kids they'll tell you their age.  "You look like a mighty warrior."  "I'm four!"

If you ask them about their profession they'll sometimes also tell you their previous profession, and any notable kills they've made.

There needs to be a walkable path I think before you can get to the mountain in Adv. Travel.

This is awesome. So demons can be released in world gen.

I was thinking in make a suggestion along these lines. But instead of whiping the civilization, they would take control of it.
