So this is basically a suggestion for an expansion of wrestling that allows various types of movement during wrestling fights.

First, mounting.  While wrestling another creature, you can choose to mount them, putting you into a position of riding them.  If the creature is not a tame mount, they can still attack you, and they decide where to move, but jumping on top of wild animals and riding them around would still be loads of fun.  Mounting smaller creatures would be doable as well, but it would burden them with your weight, making them unable to move.

Lifting would basically be the opposite of mounting: you place the creature on top of yourself so you can move around while carrying it.  This would be limited by weight as well as the creature's own willingness to be carried.  It would also help you do things like save drowning or wounded allies.

Finally, dragging and pushing: when inputting a move command while wrestling and not riding/being carried, the player can choose to either release their hold or try to drag or push the enemy.  The directional inputs of both wrestlers are combined, along with their respective strength modifiers, to determine what actually happens.

All of these could be done in a non-combat context as well; giving players and NPCs more direct control over the motion of other creatures.

i suggest that when mounting a creature you can tame it by one hitting it when it goes the way you dont want it to and petting/giving it food when it goes the way you want it to

Would I be able to drag around knocked out peasants to a cliff and flinging them off?

Would I be able to drag around knocked out peasants to a cliff and flinging them off?

Oo, a new sport... Peasant launching, bonus for distance, style and where possible survival (even if it is followed by immediate death).

How interesting it would be to have individual warriors and fighters develop martial art styles!

Even without going here, it would be interesting to have more control on one's adversaries.

Even without going here, it would be interesting to have more control on one's adversaries.
It's part of the dev notes so will appear eventually. Although it'd need more work on relative sizes, reach, climbing onto giants heads and of course a concrete decision on whether big critters will ever be multi-tile first. But yeah, will be very cool when it happens.
