Here is a Creation story of a Dwarven Civilization. Enjoy.
There was the Sun and the Earth, the two great powers. The Life-giver and the Life-Bringer. The Sparkling Mother, Ber Gusilral, turned her face to see the light of Vīr Edim Immast, the colorful Father, and absorbed some of his essence. Deep in her recesses, a child formed. Etur Uzoldoren Atķr. Ber Gusilral watched her child mature, and he charmed her, for he was like her, and of her. Vīr Edim Immast was jelous of the bond between the mother and son, and forced his light upon her to bring about one such as he. He cast himself over her loving peaks, bringing a shadow upon her essence. Twins were begotten of this foul deed. Zon Usenustuth and Tobul Mingkilrithlut, whom were night and day. In the light of his father, Tobul Mingkilrithlut brought fourth foul creatures, whom knew only to devour. He sent them into his mother's life-giving fluid, polluting her spirit. Her other son, Zon Usenustuth, came about to her, and worked to shelter her from the harsh glare of the Bright One. Even the strengths of her new son Zon Usenustuth couldn't keep the light out forever, and once again Vīr Edim Immast shed his light upon her, and her son Sodel Likot Ducim came about. The new son choose to side with his mother, and joined his strengths with Etur Uzoldoren Atķr and Zon Usenustuth to create the Dwarves. With their help, using her own flesh, her spirit could be protected from the light. Tobul Mingkilrithlut saw this, and reported to his father. Between the two of them, they created the Elves, whom they infused with desires counter to the safety of the Dwarves. It was this that allowed her first daughter. Doren Limārosram to be born. Doren Limārosram wasn't interested in defending her mother, nor in helping her father. It was she who spawned the Kobold, for it was she who wanted the possessions of the dwarves and the elves, and the essences of father, mother, and brothers. Tobul Mingkilrithlut saw the creation of Doren Limārosram, and took it for his own, corrupting it to become the Goblin, and his fish creation ajusted to become the Demon. Sodel Likot Ducim refused to be outdone, and crafted his own new creation, the human, and thousands of other creatures, such as the bear and the raccoon. It was his first solo creation that thought to create a bronze statue that spawned the Colossi. Etur Uzoldoren Atķr had grown bored, and animated it on a whim to create humor. This time was not a time of peace from Vīr Edim Immast, however, and Ber Gusilral decided to come up with a plan to end it. She created a trap, and placed a part of her essence as bait. He took the bait, and became trapped into a predictable cycle, so that she can always stay a step ahead of him with no effort. The essence quickened, however, and a child was born of the trap. Shadmal Shadmalamug, the lost one, came into being alone, with no family to identify with. She decided to make her own. She crafted the dragon to be her family, and so brought the attention of the firstborn and prankster Etur Uzoldoren Atķr upon her. It was he who gave them many heads, for the hilarity of the self-arguments, just as he created numerous other hybrid critters.
