Does Enable Magma Buildings work with this version of tweak? The version I have crashes dwarfort.exe when I try it.

EDIT: Nope, it doesn't. Causes a crash when you use it.

Argh! Same here. This sucks!

Please someone post a fix for this.

[Healthcare Update Thread] Personally, I can't wait for doctors to get possessed and start surgically attaching axes to champion soldier's arms.

Why do you NEED enable magma buildings?

The only reason for it is if you use reveal on a map (which bugs more than just magma). If you REALLY want to reveal a map just discover the magma vent first.

Unless you're just adding magma via tile edit... in which case I guess it's necessary for that, but it really isn't hard to find a location with magma and everything else you need now with the location finder.

Because I want to use magma buildings instead of cutting down every tree in the map and then converting every log of wood I have into coal, and then melting every goblin/human/elven/kobold armour down.

So you're on a map without magma?

Magma buildings enable by themselves as long as you discover magma properly.

Like I said, the only reason you'd need it is if

A: You don't have magma on map and are hacking it in.
B: You bugged your map by using reveal.

Both of which are easily solveable, either find a map with magma (easily done with the new site finder) or load a game back before you used reveal and dig up the magma before you reveal the map.

I guess hacking magma into every map is convenient, but it's not really necessary.

As far as magma is concerned, I'm the same way - I always find a site with it and can't stand going without it, even if all I'm doing with it is melting the goblin's iron.

Here are the two problems I face: I have a really really nice fort, in a perfect world. I am very picky, and I forgot to make a cheat for "create 10 coals" at the smelter. I don't want to recreate my fort, and I need lots of magma for melting down the armour of all the enemies that should attack me if my mod worked.

Well, you COULD try editing the raws by replacing one of the existing reactions with a coal creating one.

I haven't tested this out, but apparently changes to the raws will take place if you're only editing something, not adding new things.

Yeah, that seems to be my only option right now.

What I might do, since I like having things be named according to what they do (I hate temporary fixes and such) is just make some reaction create like 1,000 coal, do that a few times, then just revert the reaction to normal.

Er... Got a patch for 39f?
If you can read instructions/can figure out how to edit files, an incomplete config for 39f can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/jifodus/tables/dwarvis/

It's currently missing the offsets creature_x, creature_y, and creature_z.

All versions of tweak just started doing this on my machine.
It comes up in the ctrl-alt-del processes for about 10 seconds, nothing happens, and then disappears.

Which instructions, where? All I need is a working Reveal. . .
