Dwarf Motivational Posters

New Thread:

One liners for dwarf propaganda and motivational posters.

Goal: Get some Deviantart.com artists to whip up some posters based on the thread.

Rules: 1-4 1 liners per post, No more then 25 words per 1-liner.

Unless you mean motivational posters FOR dwarves, that's a different case.

I find de-motivational posters also to be very alluring, though I love a good motivational poster that conveys this certain… war poster syntax, grammar and feel.

Maybe something like…

"Worker dwarf! This is your war, too!"
"Able-bodied dwarves! Join the militia, join your comrades!"

:D Those are pretty good.

I think this thread does have potential. The topic reminds me of the Dwarf Fortress Slogans and the This game needs a tag line threads. But, as you say, it's not worthy (yet).

Anyway, I also found an existing motivational poster that's appropriate for Dwarf Fortress:



Also, I found several others that almost work, but did not quite fit.

BTW: The movie poster in that third one seemed appropriate for Dwarf Fortress because the monsters remind me of Forgotten Beasts and other big nasties.
