Changes

Many more crash fixes (though there are still some problems), including stopping some of those inflate errors (there's at least one of these still lurking around).  Those saves are still corrupted though.

I've changed how some of the search routines work, and the effects are fairly pervasive.  I tested it out on several saves, but you should keep a copy of your old saves safe before you try this one just in case, as usual.  If you get around to creating a new world, you'll notice a significant speed increase when the years march up.  Some of this also carries over to the main game.

Finally, aqueduct behavior has been partially repaired.  Building an aqueduct over your chasm should work, but aqueducts over water can randomly drown your fortress.  If you want to get lava over the river, try a stone bridge instead.  If your lava is in a channel next to the bridge, you might need to use a floodgate to get it over (but then be careful of letting the lava onto the floor, as usual).  Bridges over water filled channels probably won't conduct lava properly.  I'll get around to fixing the rest of this in time, but there are still some crash bugs etc. that are higher priority.

I'm still back around 8PM on my forum reading, I'll have to finish that tomorrow, as well as some other outstanding crash issues.

Woooo awesome! I loaded up that aqueduct setup I had before and finally discovered what happens when water and lava mix.

HORRIBLE BOILING CLOUDS OF DWARF-COOKING STEAM!

The aroma should probably make the starving dwarves come, until they see what it is.  Then they should be conflicted.

They're not conflicted at all. If I leave the door open, one dwarf rushes in to collect the cobwebs and is broiled. Then another rushes in to try save him and is also cooked. Another rushes to try and save the bodies, same thing, repeat over and over. Dwarves aint that smart!

It would be cool if that steam could be harnessed to power advanced mechanical devices   :D
