z-level transitions
« on: November 01, 2007, 01:48:00 pm »

i'm playing on a laptop and my up/down keys are < and shift-<.  going either direction the game tends to jump two levels instead of one.  i hope that at some point this sensitivity can be slowed down (or does anyone have a suggestion?).

does anyone else have a similar problem?

Yup, I get that on a quite average PC.  I suspect everyone does.

Does changing the keypress delay in the init file help?

Adjust [KEY_HOLD_MS:150] in data/init/init.txt to something bigger, I use 250, works a lot better.
