Well, my countdown is down to 3.  Barring any unforeseen problems, it should be out by next weekend, perhaps sooner.

Cacaphony...Weren't they a pair of lead guitarists(one I think was calling himself "Racer X" or soemthing)?

Yeah, I cringe when I think back to some of the cheese metal/butt-rock stuff(even the "cheese-THRASH"! Not just the hair-flippin spandex crowd). The lyrics were almost always terrible!

One notable excveption was a band out of England called Sabbat when they were fronted by Martin Walkier. They were mostly doing songs about the evils of organized religion at first, then they did a cocnept album based on some fantasy book called "Dreamweaver". As far as tecnical prowess in the prose department Walkier's lyrics were top notch(even if the subject matter was not necessarily high-brow) but as soon as he left the band, the group got a new front man adn someone else took over the lyrtics and they turned into a christian metal act(doing anti-evolution songs and such nonsense).

What about the grindcore stuff Tarn? Entomed, Bolt-Thrower, Deicide, Napalm etc.? Also lyrically challenged but you can't deny the motivational quality of the music!

I remember I've heard Bolt Thrower and Napalm Death before, but it was a long time ago.  That would probably work.  It might be a welcome change-of-cheese to what I've been listening to lately.

Yeah, Cacophony is definitely cheese-thrash.  It was basically Marty Friedman (of Megadeth) and Jason Becker (the guy who got ALS young and is paralyzed) doing insane soloing while this White Snake looking guy sings really cheesy lyrics.  Such as: "Dark and shiny.  Long and fast.  Never let it cross your path.  Superstition -- is it true?  This could be the end of you.  Don't mess with a black cat!  Don't mess with a black cat -- IF YOU BELIEVE IN SUPERSTITION!" and "There's a vision in my mind -- and it's extra sensory.  I am the only one left behind... possessing ESP."  Like, damn.

If I'm lucky I can finish LCS today.  Maybe not.

Agh! 10 years in prison for selling brownies? Heh heh. What kind of brownies are these? Sheesh.

Very nicely done, though. Once again, I'm impressed by your work.

Thanks for the props, yo.

They are special brownies.  He he he.  Soliciting donations is safer but gets you way less money.  Or you can just try to deal with the consistency of the American justice system on this topic.
