So, death by a thousand cuts time -- let me know what the bugs are.  It seems to run okay over here, but I'm sure there are lots of problems.  Try to be as specific as possible.

I didn't get to everything I wanted...  well, when do I ever, but anyway, you should at least be able to tell the directions the game could be taken now.

Cool.  You can post anything from the Curses section there.  If you don't want to keep uploading it, you might want to wait for LCS to become stable first

Been awhile since I played LCS. Forgot how hard this game was(almost rivals Civilization II!).

Interesting...I created my liberal by selecting background details as close to my own real life experience as I could get with the limited options/choices and not only were some of the choices eerily close to my RL details but I ended up just as broke and worthless as I am in RL!!

I recruited a few college students and tried to kidnap a musician but he and his buddy sort of shoved me away and chased me off with some jabs to my head.

This game is a Liberal Masterpiece!  One of my love slaves died in a hobbible car accident after plowing through fruit stand after fruitstand, but at least the Conservative Filth that was chasing him met with a bad end too.

It seems to me like there is no difference between males and females in this game.  I don't think seduction should be quite so easy, especially same sex seduction...

Are my peopel soliciting donations worthless or is there no message associated with how well they do?

He he he.  Kidnapping musicians in RL?  I guess when you were in that GG cover band some pretty messed up stuff could have happened...  especially if your frontman did accurate portrayals.

LCS intentionally blurs gender boundaries, since that's a liberal thing to do -- you'll notice that gender pronouns are hardly ever used.  I think I use 'he' for CEOs, and a few other places, but very rarely.   Newspaper pronouns are selected randomly, regardless of the name.

Soliciting donations is broken in 3.01 -- it only works when you are unpopular, which is the opposite of what I intended.  I've fixed it and a number of other things.  I'll post a fix release today or tomorrow, depending on how many other bug reports I get.

Oh -- you're right though, I'll make seduction harder in general, even if I leave gender the way it is.

Just to be clear, I nevere tried kidnapping any musicians in RL. I was refering to the "background choices" part(i.e. "When you were 14 you...a)Stole a cop car, B) Went to live with your dad who was a drunk viet nam vet...etc.). Some of which was eerily similar to my own life.

Also I was never in a GG cover band but I formed adn fronted a local(Tacoma/Seattle) punk band(they are still around without me) and we used to do a few G.G. tunes(well one of two) as part of our set.

What do sleepers do for you?

We need to be able to execute hostages, so that if there gets to be too many its still possible to deal with it.

You should also make it possible to quickly set a whole squad to steal a car, sell brownies, etc. as a group.

Skel, sorry for getting confused about the particulars.

Steal a car in a group for what reason?  The only I can think of that that would change now would be to make it so you kill the cops if they come -- is that what you had in mind?  For brownies, it would just make the interface faster to assign the job -- or did you want new features to come with group activity?

I didn't quite get through with sleepers, as my area exams are coming and I didn't want to get involved with a whole new thing -- if you get a good sleeper (ceo or lawyer or judge or corp. manager or actor or things like that), they change opinion on a month to month basis.  Lawyers and judges can be used in your trials to cut down on conviction rates and legal fees.
