Running LCS on Mac

Greetings!

I absolutely love this game... I've been playing it for a couple years now and particularly like the updates found on v3.12.

This is a very technical question... has anyone found a way to get this game running on Mac?  I've had a lot of success getting games to work on DosBox and with the Wine-based Crossover Mac, but as of yet I cannot seem to make this game work and it's driving me crazy.  I realize that it might be impossible, but I figured it was worth asking just in case someone knows a way to do it.

I run LCS exclusively on my (Intel) Macbook Pro, but I do it through Parallels Desktop and Windows XP. I have played it natively on OS X, once, by building from source on the terminal the same way as you would using Linux. It was nine months ago or so when I did that though, and I don't remember the details. I believe there were still some bugs and you can expect any of the oddities in the Linux port and then some if you run it under OS X.
